Allot of talk here today With that fepo i hope you now can consider to find the time to comment next time when you make a 3 pointer so people know what to fix. But i do agree with Malvina to some point. that a song Tone and pitch and timing is more importent for the singing experiance. If you find something that can be fixed. A comment will go way longer then just putting low score. And i hope that will be a must in changes to this or future pages. thats a more contruktive way to handle things. With that said. I hope you can reconsider the 3 stars you made as ive fixed allot of things in this song now. or help out fix them. Happy singing!

is right. Rating is to show the User, how good the TXT is.
Not:" Oh great, the TXT is here so i give 5 Stars."
This problem is often to see here. Also not splitted sylables.
I’ve never experienced it having any effect on the singing experience, at least not in any of the applications I’ve used. In some cases, it can even have a negative effect when words are split into syllables, especially when the bars are very small. Not splitting a word doesn’t seem to affect scoring, while splitting it sometimes can, simply because the bar becomes too small for the application to handle accurately.
From my perspective, the most important thing is that the song works well for singing and that the scoring reflects how accurately the song is performed. Whether lyrics are split into syllables or not could reasonably be left as a choice, depending on what works best for the song and the overall experience. With that in mind, using this as a basis for point deductions feels a bit subjective. It might be more constructive to focus on encouraging well-made songs with good pitch accuracy, rather than placing too much emphasis on stylistic preferences around syllables.
With that said, I do understand why Askus is asking for a more constructive way to handle scoring. Adding or removing 1-3 points without any explanation can feel a bit cold, especially when I couldn’t find anything that negatively affected the singing experience.
I’d say a 1-3 score would only be justified if the tones were bad and the timing of the song itself was terrible. That clearly wasn’t the case here. 3-4 if the song config needs improvment. Great work.
Ty, bohning. Ill take a look at it. Hope people can take this as an example that construktive comments can help someone improve the song. While just low points will most likly just have a negative effekt.
Sure, good point. I usually give 1 star if the most basic requirement for a good song is largely or extensively missing: syllabification. Looking at the first few sentences, I see
better (bet|ter)
tryin' (try|in’, if sung as one syllable: try’n)
never (ne|ver)
tryna (try|na)
isn't (i|sn’t)
beating (bea|ting)
naughty (naugh|ty)
avoiding (a|voi|ding)
which are all (at least) two syllables (potentially more if there are repeated vowels/diphtongs). All words should be split into proper (spoken!) syllables (which is often different from hyphenation, which is how a word is split when it is written, e.g. at the end of a line). I'd consider "le|vel" more and "lev|el" less correct, but I would not take that into account when rating.
If syllabification is missing, it doesn't make much sense to judge timing and pitches, because timing and pitches cannot be judged for the missing syllables - that's the reason I give 1 star. Hopefully this doesn't come across as too harsh, it's just an indicator that there's some basic work to do, which involves all the subsequent steps of song creation (1. add missing syllable splits, 2. adjust timing for newly introduced syllables, 3. set pitches for those syllables).
Would be nice if people that give low score could at least leave a comment on what they feel is wrong. its not really productive to give 1p then not saying anything why you gave it 1p. If you feel you have the time to give bad point. At least leave a comment what you feels is wrong so I can fix it...
